Challenges
A comprehensive analysis of the site's current conditions is imperative for refurbishment endeavors, ensuring an acute awareness of each space's potential and constraints. Three guiding principles underpin our design ethos: 1. Harmonizing Elements: Creating cohesion through repeated design elements across diverse spaces. 2. Exploring Geometry: Introducing accent features with angular forms and seating arrangements to infuse dynamism. 3. Embracing Asymmetry: Leveraging and integrating existing asymmetrical features into the design, showcasing their intentional inclusion.
Interior Design
Collaborative sessions with stakeholders elucidated needs, deficits, and successful elements within the building. This informed the redesign of the lobby, optimizing the placement of the concierge desk while crafting a striking statement piece to captivate passersby. A comprehensive reevaluation of amenities ensued, addressing spatial planning, functionality, and design aesthetics. These amenities include the Skylounge, community workspaces, kids' lounge, cardio and strength training rooms, art and tool workshops, and a media room. In response to evolving homeowner needs, underutilized spaces underwent reassessment to maximize utility and potential revenue generation through rentals. Currently, the design team is immersed in the developmental phase, meticulously refining concepts in collaboration with condominium members and homeowners. Our aim is to craft a design that resonates with all stakeholders, reflecting their desires and aspirations.
