Duke's Castle Barbershop Interior Design
In the pursuit of crafting a design narrative that harmonizes vintage charm with modern functionality within the confines of a narrow space, our design objective was definite.
The design journey ventured into the realm of darkness and moody undertones, a palette elevated by the rich warmth of wood tones.
This ±900-square-foot sanctuary of grooming and relaxation was conceived with an essence of Old English Vintage classic vibe, enriched by applied moulding, custom intricate wood screens, and thoughtful space planning.

Challenges
Old English Vintage aesthetic served as our guiding star, leading us to curate elements that resonate with classic elegance. Retained the existing exposed ductwork in the ceiling, incorporating it into the design by illuminating the space with purposeful lighting arrangements. Distinct ceiling details determine various functional zones, each instilled with a unique ambiance. Applied moulding throughout the space enhances the sense of unity while underscoring the classic charm that defines the environment.

To transform waiting into an engaging and entertaining affair, a dedicated area complete with a pool table, a wall-mounted TV, and a fully integrated bar counter was considered. This innovative touch adds an element of luxury and leisure, embracing the notion that every moment spent in the space is an experience to be cherished. A key novelty emerged in the form of the master barber station, designed for prime service by the master barber. At the heart of this innovation lies the integration of sinks within each workstation. This addition eliminates interruptions by seamlessly merging the cutting and hair washing processes into a unified experience.
