Lumière Pâtisserie

Clients took over a bakery shop that was previously operating in this location for 25+ years. Brought on RZ Interiors to re-imagine this space to design a modern boutique French bakery with a light and airy overall feel. Upon brainstorming with their marketing team prisms and iridescence effect of light on surfaces became the originating concept for the interiors and the overall branding and packaging. Through a space planning exercise with the design team, the flow of the space was to connect the area where baking happens with the main dining space, merging the cafe’s two main programs. This allowed visitors to take part in some of the magic behind the scenes, as the scent of freshly made bread and pastries fills the space.
